Born From Frustration With The Industry
Back in early 2018, Rhett was sitting in a Townsville
café with a couple who'd just been handed a 47-page financial plan they couldn't
understand. They were embarrassed to admit it. That moment stuck with him.
He called me that afternoon and we spent three hours
talking about how disconnected planning had become from actual life. People weren't
numbers on a risk assessment form. Their goals weren't template milestones.
So we ditched the corporate firms we worked for and
started cotanaripolex with a simple rule: if a client's eyes glaze over during a meeting,
we're doing it wrong. The approach has evolved but that rule hasn't changed.
